Alpha Alpha Delta was originally chartered on April 27th, 1980, but unfortunately lost the charter due to inactivity on July 19, 1986. It was not until April 2008 that students on the Salisbury University Campus started to petition to regain the charter, thanks to Paige Hart who had originally graduated from the Alpha Epsilon Upsilon chapter at Barton College, and was pursuing her second undergraduate degree at Salisbury University in Social Work.
